As for UK’s injured list, Jodie Meeks ran the stairs “once or twice” in practices this week. That’s a bit of progress.
Derrick Jasper is “doing a little more,” the UK coach said, “but still no contact.”
Gillispie gave a glass-half-empty report on Ramon Harris, who played a bit against Stony Brook on Tuesday. “He doesn’t look great to me,” the UK coach said. “It looks to me the longer he goes, the more he limps.”
Meanwhile, A.J. Stewart, who sat out the Stony Brook game as punishment for falling asleep in a team meeting, will be available to play against North Carolina.
