Tempers flare as Louisville opens up 22-point lead

Shortly after Louisville extended its second-half lead to 62-40, tempers flared.

Jerry Smith put U of L up 62-40 on a driving layup that resulted in a three-point play with 8:53 left.

On U of L’s next possession, Ramel Bradley grabbed David Padgett’s left arm and pulled him awkwarded down to prevent a dunk.

Terrence Williams apparently didn’t like what he saw. He came over to the milling players, which led to an exchange of bumps with UK’s Joe Crawford.

Williams was assessed a technical foul.
