UK rallies, reduces deficit to 13

With the help of Louisville fouls and turnovers, Kentucky staged a late rally. The Cards led 64-43 with 7:42 left. Then UK scored eight straight points to close within 64-41.

After a Louisville timeout with 4:23 left, the Cats missed two great chances to get closer. Patrick Patterson rushed a post-up shot (understandable since he’d had four of his shots blocked) and a follow-up 12-footer in the lane.
